Can’t beat a bum bag

I’m a bit of a fan of the ol’ bum bag. On a big backpack walk, stopping to take the pack off to retrieve something is a bit of a hassle. And I really like to have easy access to both reading glasses and sunglasses, phone, tissues, snacks etc. I also use one for overseas travel. The Deuter Belt 2 is big enough to fit a sketch book, a map and a thin extra layer. It has two compartments to keep items from dropping out and a key hook. Worn either across the body, around rucksack straps at chest level or at the waist for more traditional front loading, it offers easy access to heavy-use items.

Verdict
