FITNESS Medium by Scottish standards. As always, if you’re doing a few days on the trot, the routes will feel harder when combined. TERRAIN Grassy ridge walking, occasional­ly narrow and exposed in places. Steep and boggy ascent and descent. Gaiters recommende­d. NAVIGATION Mostly easygoing. It’s a linear route with few options to leave the ridge. Tracks are mostly good.
