Nose: Crisp and dry with lots of green apple and grapefruit upfront. Notes of citrus are followed by stone fruits, peaches and apricots before a hint of tropical fruit like mango.

Palate: Luscious, creamy mousse and very dry. Bright acidity from hits of citrus, lemon and lime are rounded out gently by yeasty notes of brioche. Hints of green apple and pear give way to waves of cinnamon spice.

Finish: Long and spicy with cinnamon and nutmeg spice.

Comments: Bright, dry acidity, delicate gentle orchard fruit and citrus and great spicy notes. Absolutely delightful.

Rob

Nose: A great deal of minerality and spun sugar, then wonderfully fruity with apricot jam and peach melba. Hints of exotic fruit as well with pomegranate and a little balsamic vinegar.

Palate: Fruits explode with the effervescence, full of mango and vanilla yoghurt. The spices are there too with cinnamon and a little nutmeg.

Finish: That cinnamon and nutmeg spice hold court, before everything is overtaken by the fruit and a drying quality.

Comments: A lovely drop of champagne. Good structure to the body and balance between spice and the fruit.
