Nose: Lightly perfumed with zesty lemon peel and softer aromas of jasmine and green tea.
Palate: A delightful flavour profile: sweet lemon to start, before it moves towards more zesty citrus. Hints of creamy vanilla make way for floral notes of jasmine and rose.
Finish: A lingering finish of lime peel and orange blossom fades to notes of angelica and coriander.
Comments: A refined flavoured gin with a complex elegance and balanced sweetness.
This makes a first rate French ‘75.

Nose: You can almost imagine someone going out and handpicking the citrus for the peels and the flowers.
Palate: Still fairly delicate, although the citrus is far bolder than it was on the nose. So far so traditional as a juniper note comes to the fore, but a the floral notes from the nose comes through with a jasmine custard note.
Finish: Long lasting citrus flavours, consistent with the nose and palate. Sweet overall.
Comments: A delicate number. Mix with either a light tonic or soda water. A Tom Collins would be an interesting option.
