Nose: Crisp, clean juniper and a little zesty lemon are followed by a touch of earthy florality.

Palate: Soft, plump, jammy fruity notes alongside an earthy sweetness and hints of liquorice that also give the gin a rich mouthfeel.

Finish: A gentle residual heat lingers, but this gin is clean with just a dash of residual dry cocoa.

Comments: A solid example of a classic gin that lends itself to a great, refreshing Gin & Tonic. 8.7

Nose: Curious one this – your typical juniper note towards the front, but then baked apples and cinnamon. Lemon peels are in there too.

Palate: Juniper first, freshly expressed and backed up by hits of lemon peel and orange. The curiosity comes from some of the fruit and spice elements. A few tropical hits – banana and mango, before a spicy pepper hit emerges.

Finish: That spice lasts, while there’s still the earthiness of juniper.

Comments: Nice spice notes and tasty fruits too. Interesting balance of classic notes and more contemporary twists.
