Kate

Nose: Huge sweetness: pink marshmallows, bubblegum, rhubarb and custard sweets and cherry. Herbal notes follow with fresh mint, tarragon and camomile. There is a citrus note of lemon rind and pink lemonade, then fizzy sherbet spaceships and ground ginger.

Palate: Fruity sweetness – maraschino cherries, raspberries and rhubarb, then blue bubblegum and orange sherbet.

Finish: Red berry fruitiness, with intense fresh ginger spice.

Comments: Intensely sweet, but there is complexity with herbal and spice layers. 7.5

Sam

Nose: Sugary sweetness upfront, with nods towards root ginger and a vibrant green floral note. Something slightly woody in there too. Perfume like overall.

Palate: Initially very sweet – before gradually a confectionary ginger cuts through and balances flavours out nicely. Orange peel. Smooth mouthfeel adds to a satisfying drink.

Finish: Drawn out and like a never ending back of sweet.

Comments: Flavoursome and delicately balanced. Served over ice or with some sparkling wine it would be a well-deserved refreshing drink. 8.2
