Nose: Peaches and cream, fresh cut mint in simple sugar syrup. Floral with Gladioli, and fruity with green plums. A little rum-esque. Melting sugar and caramel sauce. White chocolate coated hazelnuts round it out.
Palate: Honey sweetness, apples and mandarins in syrup. The cherries in tinned fruit salad. All that chocolate but with a little red chilli and ginger spice. Develops a very creamy mouthfeel.
Finish: Full syrupy sweetness and creamy oak. Hints of orange zest.
Comments: One for the sweet toothed I think – have a nice balance to it though. 8.5

Nose: A bag of toffees, tinned clementine, orange and lemon boiled sweets and freshly cut oak timber.
Palate: Gentle and silky, that orange sweetness is back with vanilla custard and syrup de citron. There’s honey and something herbal, perhaps bisongrass.
Finish: Medium length, with vanilla and citrus. That faint herbal note dances in the shadows to the end.
Comments: Would serve well as an aperitif or between-course palate cleanser. Lovely. 7.9
