Nose: Full on farmyard initially, cut hay, sileage, wet wool and some damp timber. Honey notes. A floral edge comes in with strawberry shrubs, pine forest and damp moss. Orange barley sugar at the end.
Palate: Huge sweetness with milk toffee and chocolate, oranges dipped in dark chocolate. Figs and honey, cherries, poached conference pear, dried apricots and a little roast hazelnut.
Finish: Black treacle and blackberries. Takes its time but worth the wait.
Comments: The palate leads you from farmyard to the kitchen where plum jam is being made.

Nose: Sweet Sémillion wines; honeyed with orange juice and grapefruit peel. Empty drawers, oaky and dusty. Fresh red apple and wet clay. Mixed herbs: thyme, corriander, and marjoram.
Palate: A fresh orange and honey toddy! The sweet white wine note continues, but with nutty, oxidised aged white port. With time, a subtle sweet digestive biscuit note.there’s chocolate and that scent of musty dunnage.
Finish: Medium, with honey and white grapes.
Comments: The perfect dram to remember the long-past summer by.
