Edinburgh Gin Distiller’s Cut

(40.0% ABV)

Bucking the trend for high-strength travel retail gins, Edinburgh Gin's Distiller’s Cut is bottled at 40% ABV rather than their Classic Gin’s 43% ABV. It is made using the same botanical mix as the Classic, but also includes fresh, as well as dried, orange peel, which adds a bright and succulent vibrancy of flavour.

These rich citrus flavours work well in an Aviation cocktail: a sophisticated drink from the early days of air travel with a dash of elegant florality from the Crème de Violette.

Ingredients

50ml Edinburgh Distiller’s Cut Gin 20ml Lemon Juice

5ml Créme de Violette

5ml Maraschino

Shake thoroughly with ice, before fine straining into a cocktail glass.

This is just an introduction to the relatively fledgling range of gins that are currently exclusive to travellers throughout duty-free, but there will certainly be more in the near future.
