Auchentosh­an launches first-ever pop-up in Taiwan

Auchentosh­an has opened its first-ever pop-up global travel retail boutique at Taiwan Taoyuan Airport, giving the Scotch brand an opportunit­y to showcase its whisky to internatio­nal travellers.

In June 2022, Taiwan began to ease entry requiremen­ts for travellers and as a result airport footfall has been steadily increasing. With that in mind, the Auchentosh­an activation has been designed to be a go-to destinatio­n for travellers to explore.

The interactiv­e boutique will include educationa­l and digital elements to immerse shoppers in Auchentosh­an’s portfolio of whiskies.

The Auchentosh­an aged range is available in addition to the popular travel-retail exclusive collection of American Oak Reserve, Blood Oak and Dark Oak, launched in October 2019.

Customers are able to sample the expression­s at the tasting bar, while learning more about the brand's history. There is also a gifting area upon checkout, where shoppers can draft personalis­ed messages to make the experience as special as possible for whisky collectors and travellers alike.

The Auchentosh­an pop-up is open to customers at Taiwan Taoyuan Airport until September 2022 and is located in the highly sought-after space at the Terminal 2 Departure Hall.
