Bethany Whymark

After studying English literature at university, Bethany spent five years working as a journalist for regional newspaper groups in the east of England before moving into the spirits industry. She now edits Whisky Magazine, as well as Travelux, and is editor-at-large of Gin.

Phoebe Calver

As editor of American Whiskey Magazine and Rum Magazine and deputy editor of Whisky Magazine, Phoebe splits her focus between the US and ‘global’ whisky scenes. She is also co-host of Whisky Live TV and a taster for Whisky Magazine.

Christopher Coates

A member of the team since 2013 and a keen whisky drinker long before that, Christopher is director of the Paragraph Partnership. Beyond this, he is a keen photographer and chair of judges for the World Whiskies Awards and Icons of Whisky.
