JACK PEACE

-

I am a very competitive person in everything I do and I always try hard. I go to Ryedale School where I also compete in the cricket, rugby, football and athletics teams, which I really enjoy, but trials is what I love the most. Having my mum with me during trials is good for me as she always helps me to stay riding to the best of my ability. I just want to do well. Outside of school I love mountain biking and we have had some fantastic times in France where we can get mum doing some crazy downhill rides. Where we live we are very fortunate to be able to practice with Michael Brown and Ian Austermuhle. I would also like to thank Mark Taylor for all the help he has given me. My favourite rider is Takahisa Fujinami as you never know what he will do. I like my new Gas Gas but it’s quite different after riding Beta’s for so long and I know I have to practice as much as I can to get the best from it. I am really looking forward to this next year. JAYNE ON JACK: “Focused, committed, determined and dedicated are four words I would use to describe Jack. He is a very tough little rider who always gives one hundred percent. He sometimes lets his emotions come out which is not always a bad thing as long as he is able to channel it into his riding. He is growing all the time and getting used to his new Gas Gas and as long as he keeps enjoying riding as much as he does now the results will come, which is important to Jack.”
