GAS GAS TXT RACING
There is no actual TXT range as we know for 2015 as all the models have moved up a gear to be named the 2015 TXT Racing models, coming with a very high entry level specification. Once again we witness an evolution of the main adult machines, the 250cc, 280cc and 300cc. It’s the 125cc and new 80cc where the Gas Gas news is for 2015.
Gas Gas has
devoted special efforts to renew the interest in the 125cc aimed at the youth and teenage sector. In its evolution the machine incorporates a new cylinder head both inside and outside with new thermodynamics for the cylinder with a ‘look’ that is consistent with the whole Racing range.
The new ignition system with a new CDI unit and the Keihin carburettor adds to this list of ‘new’ for the 125. The new crankcases are aimed at improving the torque and power incorporating a new unique crankshaft for this engine.
The new 80cc model goes down a level from its brother following the platform of the TXT Racing 125 with smaller front and rear components for the youngest rider. The new TXT Racing 80cc is a completely new machine and incorporates a new engine directly inherited from the other engines in the Racing range.
Among the most notable improvements in the motor are the primary drive starting and a new cylinder, cylinder head, piston and exhaust pipe curve. The unification of the components of the chassis of the small TXT 80 with the adult range is complete not only with the chassis but also the exhaust and the silencer as well as the air box and fuel tank.
