What can I say, apart from that I am living the dream that was there from the moment, many years ago, when I threw my leg over a motorcycle! I have retained my SuperEnduro and Trials World Championship titles, making me a four-time world motorcycle champion. I have the support from Sherco and MRS and my many sponsors who keep me at the front and also from my fantastic family; yes life is good.

With the four wins from the five rounds the WTC win may have looked easy but believe me it’s all about commitment. I was not happy with second in the opening round in the Czech Republic, such are my high expectations of my riding, but hey I am only human. On day two it was case of ‘business as usual’ with a clear win.

We then moved to Northern Spain for a really good challenging event on day one, where I was more than happy with my performance. I repeated this on day two but would have liked a harder event as I tied for the win on three marks lost, with the victory decided on the time factor, and with it another world title. The final round, also in Spain one week later, was held under clear blue skies, which was good and made even better as I was able to put on a winning display in front of Marc Tessier and the Sherco family, and many of my other sponsors.

The Trial Des Nations victory the following day was the icing on the cake for the season and made me very proud to be part of it. Once again the support from all my sponsors is much appreciated and makes the season worthwhile. They supply me with the best support and products and I would like to say a HUGE thank you to you all.
