MY FATHER RONALD HULME 1933–2016

Trial Magazine - - OBSERVATION -

Everyone has a hero in their lifetime, and mine was my father Ronald Hulme. I took the phone call from my wife Jane that he had passed away while I was in Germany at the WTC in late May. Word soon spread around the paddock, and I must say I was quite overwhelmed by the support from my many friends – thank you. It was a very tough weekend, made a little easier as I had my good friend John Shirt Jnr travelling with me. To see three young British riders in the T2 class dominating the podium did bring a tear to my eyes as they played the national anthem, such was my emotion.
