Af­ter the agony of Spain, where de­spite be­ing the fastest qual­i­fier the heavy rain erad­i­cated any ad­van­tage for Jaime Busto, this time in An­dorra in the sun it worked. He led from Adam Raga by two marks af­ter the open­ing lap, with Toni Bou down in third po­si­tion on twenty marks lost as the top three all suf­fered time penal­ties. On the sec­ond lap the wheels be­gan to come off Busto’s chal­lenge though as he fived sec­tion ten, with Raga tak­ing a five on sec­tion four as Bou be­gan his fight back. A sin­gle mark on sec­tion ten left it all to play for, and he knew a three-mark penalty on sec­tion fif­teen was needed to chal­lenge for the vic­tory. It was not to be though, as a ju­bi­lant Raga stood proud on the top step of the podium.

Jorge Casales (Beta-ESP): A mas­sive tal­ent who some­times gets over-looked, but his en­ergy and com­mit­ment re­mains and he was re­warded with fourth. Adam Raga (TRRS-ESP): Never one to eas­ily ad­mit de­feat, he pushed all the way for a much de­served vic­tory...
