Taking two wins in this year’s campaign, Richard Sadler holds the advantage. Joe Baker (Active Sherco) has won both the rounds he has contested but is not in the fight for the title. Both James Fry and Dan Thorpe have won individual rounds but despite a slow start in round one Sadler has been a consistent runner-up. It’s the inconsistency from both Fry and Thorpe that leave them trailing Sadler in the points table. Fry knows that he has to take the two wins in Scotland at the double-header, but will it be enough to overhaul and pass an equally determined Sadler? We will see. It will also be interesting to see who wins the Sherco battle for fourth between Tom Affleck and Luke Walker.
