The club usu­ally agrees a dis­count with Con­dor Fer­ries for over­seas com­peti­tors. Their reser­va­tions num­ber is 0345 609 1024; ask for the Groups de­part­ment. You must state that you are trav­el­ling to Jer­sey for the Jer­sey Mo­tor Cy­cle & Light Car Club’s Two Day Trial. The dis­count is usu­ally avail­able for travel over the trial’s dates and is for all routes to and from Jer­sey.

WHERE IS JER­SEY

Jer­sey sits in the Bay of St Malo and is just 19 miles, 30.5km, from the French coast and 85 miles – 137 km – south of the English coast. Jer­sey is only 5 miles (8km) long and 9 miles (14.5km) wide. The cap­i­tal of Jer­sey is Saint He­lier, which is one of the twelve parishes of Jer­sey. St He­lier has a pop­u­la­tion of about 33,500, roughly 34.2% of the to­tal pop­u­la­tion of Jer­sey. The ur­ban area of the par­ish of St He­lier makes up most of the largest town in Jer­sey al­though some of the town area is sit­u­ated in ad­ja­cent St Saviour, with sub­urbs sprawl­ing into St Lawrence and St Cle­ment. The cap­i­tal of­fers a vi­brant nightlife with many bars and restau­rants to take in the cul­ture of this, the largest of the Chan­nel Is­lands.
