BILL LAWLESS: 1936-2020

Trial Magazine has received the sad news that Bill Lawless passed away on Christmas Day 2020. A larger-than-life character (seen here second from the right at the 1978 SSDT), Bill was born in Hyde, Manchester, and lived a full life of motorcycling.

Bill was the guy who gave us the superb ‘weekly’ off-road paper Trials and

Motocross News in May 1977.
