MAKE A WISH

Long-time Classic and Trial Magazine test rider, Nick Shield, would like to thank everyone who has donated to his ‘Make A Wish’ charity Scottish campaign. Along with his good friend Michael Irving, they planned to compete in the Pre-65 Scottish and the Scottish Six Days Trials. The Pre-65 was ticked off the list by both riders, but only Michael completed the entire six days as Nick was forced to retire on Wednesday morning.

Nick’s world collapsed in January 2021 when his lovely wife, Diane, lost her brave fight with ovarian cancer. Her chosen charity for donations at the funeral was the Make a Wish Foundation.
