Fish­ing: De­spite its up­per river lo­ca­tion, fresh fish run into and through Water­side and Fer­rar even in low wa­ter. Up to four rods may fish the four-mile beat, the wa­ter eas­ily cov­ered with a 13-footer. In low wa­ter, a switch rod or sin­gle­han­der is am­ple. The beat is fly only, catch-and-re­lease. Typ­i­cal flies are Stoat’s Tails, Crathies and Ed­i­tors. A gillie is avail­able.
