STRUGGLING TO COPE with painkiller withdrawal and desperate to be in a position where he can look after daughter Summer, Billy turns to his brother Lee for help. Given that Lee is a proper scally and once took Sarah Platt hostage, suffice to say that the ‘help’ the lad offers isn’t a recommendation of a good rehab clinic.
As Billy returns home, he has quite the spring in his step. A suspicious Eileen is stunned by his apparently speedy ‘recovery,’ prompting Billy to pretend that it’s all just an act for Summer’s sake.
The vicar’s soon asking Lee for more of the same. This time, Lee comes to the cobbles, but it’s a dangerous move on his part. Sarah spots him and reports back to David, and he and Josh then beat the living daylights out of him.
It’s a brutal warning to Lee to stay away – but will Lee listen? And if he does, where does that leave Billy?
