Back to the Future Part III

This third and final time-travel adventure for Michael J Fox’s Marty Mcfly is a Wild West extravaganza as Marty shoots back in time to rescue his pal Doc Brown (Christopher Lloyd), whose name he has found on a tombstone which states he was shot back in 1885. Director Robert Zemeckis’s film has enormous fun at the expense of classic Westerns, although what is perhaps most affecting is the wistful sense of romance that pervades the storyline when Doc falls for the charms of Mary Steenburgen’s schoolteacher. 1990, PG,112MIN
