Growing up Smith
COMING-OF-AGE COMEDY dramas set in 1970s American suburbia are nothing new, but this one gains freshness by having as its hero a 10-year-old boy from an Indian immigrant family.
Appealingly played by Roni Akurati, the eponymous Smith has big spectacles and even bigger dreams, many of which revolve around the cute blonde girl next door (Brighton Sharbino).
