The Other Guys

Despite having the flimsiest of plots, this splendid farce is a near-total triumph.

Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg form a great comedy double act as mismatched, disgraced New York City detectives who have to step up to tackle the baddies when something happens to the city’s top cops (Samuel L Jackson and Dwayne Johnson). There is plenty of great action and the film is often hilarious, with big laughs throughout.
