PHIL MITCHELL’S going ‘darn’. Or at least he is if Vincent has his way. The former owner of The Albert is broke after being forced to give his bar to Aidan, and decides to return to his former ‘job’ as a graaas.
Meeting with DI Franklin, he tells the cop about Phil’s involvement in the heist, and brings a recording of a conversation with Phil as evidence. But it’s not enough for Franklin. He wants something bigger and better on Phil, and hands Vincent cash as a sweetener.
Soon, Vincent is probing Phil about Luke Browning – Ben’s violent ex, who is now six feet under somewhere, minus his teeth. Vincent’s annoyed when he reaches a dead end, but his frustration turns to panic when he’s then told that he has 24 hours to get the information or he risks going to jail himself. Is Vincent about to trade in his posh Victorian gaff for HMP Walford?
