ADRIAN DUNBAR is under suspicion in a new psychological drama
TAKE A LOOK at Adrian Dunbar in twisty thriller Blood, airing on Channel 5 later this year.
The six-part series, set in rural Ireland, and penned by Sophie Petzal, whose credits include Riviera and The Last Kingdom, sees the Line of Duty actor play doctor and family man Jim Hogan, whose relationship with estranged daughter Cat (Unforgotten’s Carolina Main) comes under further threat when she grows suspicious after her ill mother Mary (Ingrid Craigie) dies.
Cat, who is already haunted by a violent moment from her childhood, returns to the family home after years away and, during the week after Mary’s death, investigates whether
Jim may have had a hand in her demise. But is he guilty or is Cat just paranoid?
‘It keeps the viewers on their toes,’ says Dunbar. ‘And at the end of each episode, something happens that makes you think, “I was wrong all along!”’
