AFTER BECOMING THE first woman to take on the role, Jodie Whittaker has quickly made her mark as the Thirteenth Doctor. Over the last few weeks she’s starred in some brilliant episodes in which she’s travelled to the Punjab, encountered King James I and Rosa Parks, and taken on a bunch of sniper robots and giant spiders.
Now, in a break with tradition, the Time Lord’s thrilling seasonal adventure will take place at New Year as the Doctor and companions Yaz (Mandip Gill), Ryan (Tosin Cole) and Graham (Bradley Walsh) head for home. But when a chilling force from across centuries of history poses a terrible threat to planet Earth, can the gang save the day?
