RONNIE O’SULLIVAN will have the record books in his sights when he defends his UK Championship title in York this week. A seventh victory in the tournament would take the Rocket clear of Steve Davis, with whom he shares a joint record of six wins. O’sullivan, who turns 43 this week, would also set a new record for Triple Crown victories. He currently shares the record with Stephen Hendry, both with 18 wins in the World, UK and Masters events.
