Cain tells Debbie that he killed her fiancé Joe...

-

FOR THREE MONTHS, Cain Dingle has been eaten up with guilt over his murder of daughter Debbie’s fiancé, Joe Tate – not realising that Joe survived his ‘killer’ punch and was finished off by Graham Foster. When the police discover a body this week – which, it turns out, isn’t Joe’s – the sight of his daughter, traumatised by Joe’s unexplained disappearance, proves too much to bear for Cain. He confesses that Joe is dead – and he killed him.

The revelation leaves Debbie shell-shocked, and she goes AWOL. When she finally returns, she heads to Home Farm and tells Graham the news, only to discover that he was in on the crime and disposed of Joe’s body.

Debbie wants nothing more to do with her dad, and leaves Butlers Farm. Moira tries to talk her round, but makes things worse by letting slip she was also in the know.

Cain is at rock bottom, and when Moira reaches out to him, he trashes the kitchen and pins her against the fridge. He’s lost his daughter – is he about to lose his wife, too?

PLUS David suspects Maya is having an affair, Bob tries to find new accommodation, Sam presents Belle and Lydia with a new piglet, Matty ignores a plea for help, and a rejection leaves Marlon feeling deflated.
