Look Who’s Back…

A familiar face appearing in a new role this week

Silent Witness Monday & Tuesday, BBC1 HD, 9pm

COLIN SALMON MADE his screen debut playing a police sergeant in Prime Suspect 2 in 1992. He’s become a familiar face on TV with regular roles in Bad Girls as a prison doctor and most recently as General Zod in Krypton.

He’s best known to film fans for playing MI6’S Charles Robinson in the Bond movies Tomorrow Never Dies, The World Is Not Enough and Die Another Day.

HIS NEW ROLE

THE 56-YEAR-OLD guests in this week’s two-part Silent Witness story as Noah Taylor, a head teacher who confronts the drug dealers preying on his community after a teenage boy dies in a meth-lab explosion. His actions put him on a collision course with the criminals behind the dangerous new drugs which are causing an increase in overdoses, leading Dr Nikki Alexander (Emilia Fox) and the rest of the team to investigat­e. Former Eastenders star Samantha Womack also guests.
