THE RETURN OF Formula One is still some weeks away, but you can get a fix of high-speed motorsport with live coverage of the NASCAR Cup Series this week. Engines will be firing at the Food City 500 at Bristol, Tennessee, on Sunday, where Kyle Busch will be defending his title. The Bristol Motor Speedway has a capacity of 162,000 fans, though this year’s race will be without spectators. Kevin Harvick claimed victory as NASCAR returned to action for the first time since March on 17 May.

Sancho isn’t the only British player to cheer on as BT Sport’s live coverage of all Germany’s top-flight matches continues.

Wales internatio­nal Rabbi Matondo and Everton loanee Jonjoe Kenny both currently play for Schalke, who face Werder Bremen on Saturday, while Ademola Lookman and Wales star Ethan Ampadu, on loan from Chelsea, could feature for RB Leipzig, who travel to Cologne on Monday.

This week’s Match of the Day: Top Ten (Saturday, BBC1 HD, 10.20pm) sees Gary Lineker, Ian Wright and Alan Shearer choose their favourite Premier League matches.
