The Netflix Slam Sunday 3 March

Beginning at 8.30pm, a live tennis exhibition match between Rafael Nadal (injuries permitting), holder of 22 Grand Slam men’s singles titles, and the world No.2 and current Wimbledon champion Carlos Alcaraz. The event takes place at Michelob ULTRA Arena at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.

Genderquee­r comics from around the world take to the stage at London’s Alexandra Palace in a comedy showcase hosted by Hannah Gadsby.

Queens Tuesday 5 March

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever star Angela Bassett narrates a wildlife series that celebrates females in the animal kingdom, from killer whales and elephants through to lions and foxes, revealing their resilience, strength and drive to protect their families. See feature, page 17.

Extraordin­ary Wednesday 6 March

Second season of the British superhero comedy. The new run picks up where the first series left off with Jen (Máiréad Tyers) enrolling at a power clinic in the hope of finally finding her superpower. With Derry Girls’ Siobhán Mcsweeney. The Mighty Boosh’s Julian Barratt joins the cast and Sir Derek Jacobi voices a special cameo role.

Full Swing Wednesday 6 March

The second run of the docuseries following pro golfers on and off the course across a season of competitio­n on the PGA Tour, including all four Majors. There are also two episodes on the Ryder Cup in Rome. Featured players include Rory Mcilroy, Wyndham Clark, Matt Fitzpatric­k, Justin Thomas and Dustin Johnson.

Italian biographic­al drama inspired by the life of actor, director and producer Rocco Siffredi, known as the Italian Stallion, who has starred in more than 1,300 adult films since 1986. Starring Alessandro Borghi.

Ricky Stanicky Thursday 7 March

Comedy film starring Zac Efron. For more than 20 years, three best friends have used an imaginary friend called Ricky

Stanicky as an alibi for their immature behaviour. But when their wives and partners finally demand to meet Ricky, the trio hire a washed-up actor (John Cena) to bring him to life – and then wish they hadn’t.

The Thunderman­s Return Thursday 7 March

Film based on the 20132018 live-action superhero comedy series The Thunderman­s, about a superpower­ed family as they attempt to live a normal life while using their superhuman abilities to stop crime. The movie stars original cast members Kira Kosarin, Jack Griffo, Addison Riecke, Diego Velazquez, Maya Le Clark, Chris Tallman and Rosa Blasi.

The Gentlemen Thursday 7 March

Guy Ritchie brings us a TV series spin-off from his 2020 action-comedy film. Aristocrat Eddie Horniman (The White Lotus’ Theo James) inherits the family estate and discovers that the land has become part of a drug empire. With Vinnie Jones, Kaya Scodelario and Max Beesley. See feature, page 4.
