Verity Rushworth, who played Donna Windsor, is joining the cast of the West End musical Kinky

Boots. The show, featuring music and lyrics by Cindi Lauper, is running at London’s Adelphi Theatre until March 2018. Verity will be playing one of the lead roles, Lauren, from 10 July.

Adam woodward, who played Nathan – the hunky escort Finn Barton took a shine to – has landed himself a role in Hollyoaks.

He’ll be playing ladies’ man Brody Hudson, who will first appear in the show’s special Ibiza episodes, due to air in the summer, before going on to become a regular character back in the village.
