Lauren pregnant?

She returns home from work unwell. Has Steven’s secret plan worked?

-

Lauren’s feeling rather icky this week. Now, she could have caught a bug, or just be a bit tired from all the important work she’s been doing in that shiny office. But then again, she could be... pregnant!

If that’s the case, then boyfriend Steven will be cock-a-hoop. He fears he’s losing Lauren to the young and trendy brigade in Canary Wharf, and reckons that saddling her with another kid is the best way to put the kibosh on her career. In fact, he probably won’t rest until he’s turned her into a little Pauline Fowler. Before you know it, he’ll be buying her cardigans.

Steven has also started to worry that Lauren’s relationship with her boss, Josh, may not be strictly professional. At the start of the week, as Abi continues to plant doubts in his mind, he comes up with a devious plan.

Reveals our Eastenders source: ‘He installs an app that allows him to track

Lauren’s phone, so he can keep tabs on where she is.’

Desperate to cling on to their relationship, Steven also prepares them a romantic dinner – no doubt with a view to whisking Lauren upstairs afterwards for some hanky panky (using a punctured condom, obviously). His plans go awry when Josh drops a poorly Lauren home, but he decides to capitalise on the situation by insisting Josh stay for the meal. Adds our source: ‘Steven knows full well that both Lauren and Josh will find this really awkward.’

Josh tries to make his excuses, but Steven practically manhandles him into staying. Lauren, meanwhile, looks as sick as a dog – and not just because of Steven’s annoying behaviour.

Does she have a baby on board?

And if she does, where does this leave her new job?
