Carters in crisis!

Aidan’s drug-dealing in The Vic – but can the family stop him?

Mick tries to stand up to him, but Aidan gives him a threat he can’t ignore

There’s a drugs cartel operating out of The Vic… or should we say a drugs Carter-ell? See what we did there?

It’s all thanks to Aidan, who’s still hobbling about the Square blathering on about his missing money. He’s convinced that Mick stole the loot – how else did he have the readies to buy back the pub? And, he wants to teach him that you don’t go messing with JP...

Shirley was the first to clock the odd activity in the men’s loos, and Mick twigged soon after that the trail of men going in and out of the bogs wasn’t due to a dodgy ruby. He’s determined to nip things in the bud, but the drug dealer soon passes on a menacing message from his boss.

Not prepared to back down, Mick decides to speak to the organ grinder, directly – but the meeting doesn’t go well.

‘Mick gets a swift reminder of just what kind of man he’s dealing with,’ reveals our Eastenders insider. ‘Aidan is a hardened criminal, who has lots of other criminals under his control. It’s a David and Goliath situation. Mick tries to stand up to him, but Aidan gives him a threat that he can’t ignore.’

Linda’s been out of the loop so far, as she’s been visiting her little sausage in Manchester. But when she returns, it doesn’t take long for her to discover the truth, and she decides to take action. Perhaps she could do a spot of karaoke – that ‘voice’ of hers is enough to have the hardiest types begging for mercy.

Mick’s panic-stricken when he finds out what his missus has done, and comes to a bold decision, but it makes a bad situation 10 times worse, and all the Carters can do is stew over the possible repercussions. Have they just dug their own graves?
