Zeedan makes a pass at his late dad’s former lover
It’s all a bit ‘eww!’ when Zeedan lunges at Leanne on the sofa this week. If his dad hadn’t died in the fire at Victoria Court, Leanne would be his stepmum. But the lad’s all over the place since finding out about Rana’s shenanigans with Kate.
Having accepted a bribe from Rana’s parents to stay quiet about his wife’s affair, Zeedan’s trying to carry on as if all is fine and dandy. But Yasmeen can see that her grandson is struggling.
The chef thinks the answer is to keep Kate and Rana apart, and when he hears that Phelan wants a tenant for Luke’s room, he suggests to Kate’s new girlfriend, Sophie, that she move in. Kate reluctantly agrees, and Zee reports back to Rana, knowing it will upset her. But then Kate has a change of heart and tells Sophie it’s too soon for them to live together.
Upset, Zeedan offloads on Leanne, and tells her that he still loves Rana. She assures him that he’ll find love again, but she gets more than she bargained for when he makes a pass at her.
Horrified, Leanne storms out, with a sorry Zeedan in tow. Kate spots them and tells Rana, who says she’s not surprised, as their marriage is purely financial. As the women have a heart-to-heart, they admit their love. Will they become a proper couple – and how will Zeedan react?
