although widely regarded as the weakest offerings from the otherwise stellar Pixar, the Cars movies are very popular. Let’s be honest, while the first was fine, the second was pretty atrocious. This third instalment gets back on track with Lightning Mcqueen (voiced by Owen Wilson again) beginning to feel his age and struggling to compete with newer, sleeker racing cars. He decides to take a road trip to discover himself… This movie isn’t even close to the likes of Pixar’s best – Up, Inside Out, the Toy Story trilogy etc – but it does look stunning and is a warm, inclusive tale for old and young alike.
