this innovative series is a first for British tv drama as it blends live action with stunning animation created using motion capture technology. It centres on shy Leila (Tallulah Haddon), whose mother has recently died and who tries to escape her loneliness by playing online virtual reality game Azana, where she can become her super-cool avatar Shadowfax. However, as she stumbles across a hidden section of the game, known as Red Pill, she encounters a mysterious group of people including the enigmatic Mania, the alter ego of hedonistic Tess (Simona Brown). But when Tess suddenly tracks down and befriends Leila in real life, danger is just around the corner…
