IT’S NICE To be home!

Keeley Hawes on her joy at being back in London…

-

Louisa goes home to Bournemouth to bury aunt Hermione, but can’t stand her relatives, so follows Larry to London. what does she make of it?

She ends up having an adventure, which was great fun to film! She meets Larry’s friend, the author Henry miller, who likes to take his clothes off a lot – it’s very funny! It was a little odd to see Louisa back in England, but good to take us back to the roots of this family.

does she struggle to leave her other children behind?

I think she’s a brilliant mother in general but she just waves goodbye to them and heads off to England… leaving them with a cab driver she hardly knows!

were you sad to be spending less time in corfu?

No, it’s different for me because I’ve got three children. It’s lovely in Greece, everyone’s brilliant and the weather is better, but it’s important for me to be at home. We usually have one episode back at Ealing Studios anyway, for logistical reasons. We filmed this episode in richmond and it rained for 12 hours – they booked rain machines but in the end

they didn’t need them!
