Hamlet
theatre / 9pm / BBC2
take a front row seat as Sherlock’s moriarty, andrew Scott, gives a virtuoso performance as the Prince of Denmark. Filmed live at London’s Harold Pinter Theatre last year, this modern-day version of Shakespeare’s classic won rave reviews, and the Bard’s speeches are delivered from the heart. Rolling news coverage of the King’s funeral, CCTV footage of his ghost, and, of course, the Danish setting means it could give any Scandi-noir a run for its money. Brilliant.
