The grand launch is a big deal to Ian and Mas – but especially Ian. He’s already had a disastrous ‘soft’ opening, so wants the official unveiling to be perfect. But all manner of things go wrong, including the fact that the Walford Gazette – who Squeale has invited to cover the event – send over a journalist he’s had a run-in with in the past.
As the event gets underway, Kush bails out of attending – he’s struggling in the wake of Shakil’s death. A disappointed Denise heads over with sister Kim, only for Kush to later join them, having had a change of heart. Dee’s thrilled, but it’s not long before things go awry.
