How have you found the strictly experience so far? Colourful, adventurous, challenging and amazing!
what have been your favourite – and least favourite – dances to perform? the Charleston was one of my favourites because we just got to be so silly and goofy and show that playful side. i don’t have a least favourite; i’ve loved all of them!
what makes your strictly dance partner, pasha Kovalev, such a good teacher?
Pasha is very patient and grounded. He also keeps me disciplined. He challenges me because he knows that pushing me a bit further gets a better result, even though sometimes i want to run and hide.
you have had previous dance experience, but how does strictly live up to your expectations? i have had past dance experience in the jazz and hip-hop world, but this is something completely different. How the dancers carry their bodies and transfer their weight is so precise. it’s more challenging than i thought it would be. i’m pushing myself to understand the essence of Latin and ballroom.
Have you thought about the prospect of lifting the glitterball trophy? that would be absolutely beyond amazing, but it is one step at a time. Saturday ends and the next week starts and i’m so grateful to be through to the next round.
do you have any pre-show rituals? me and Pash get in our little ‘Pashley’ bubble, where we just really connect with each other and go over the choreography together.
next week strictly is off to Blackpool! what would it mean to you to dance at the tower Ballroom? Everybody talks about Blackpool! i would love to feel
what it’s like to dance there. it would be amazing.
