Sealed with a kiss?

Kat and Alfie get closer – how will Hayley react?

TV Times - - Soaps -

It looks like Alfie has finally forgiven Kat for sleeping with the Russian when the pair pucker up. About time – while he’s been punishing her for allowing their young son, Ernie, to be scalded, he’s conveniently forgotten how he left his estranged missus scarred for life (well, a few months) after torching the old Slater house.

That the couple have a moment to themselves to lock lips is a miracle in itself. Chez Slater is bursting at the seams now that Alfie and the boys have moved in

– we make it 15 people currently living there. It’s a problem that Alfie addresses at the start of the week. As he goes all-out to make Christmas perfect (never gonna happen in Walford, mate), he has a chat with Ian and later announces his spacecreating solution.

Clearly, he’s also forgotten that the Slaters rent rather than own

the

house, which means he doesn’t have free rein to make changes.

Kat has no idea that one of those 15 – Hayley’s daughter, who finally gets a name this week – is

Alfie’s secret love child. So, as the chemistry sizzles between her and her man in the moon, she gives in to her feelings. After a couple of false starts, they finally lock lips.

But while having

Alfie back is great for Kat, it’s a constant source of stress for Hayley, who fears their secret will be exposed. As the pressure mounts, she calls her mum, Bev – and when she hangs up on her, she packs a bag. Will Hayley and her baby leave town?
