In this tremendous sci-fi action thriller Tom Cruise stars as a cowardly military PR expert who becomes an unwilling army grunt and ends up reliving the same day of extraterrestrial combat over and over again. Somehow caught in a time loop, Cruise’s shirking, clumsy wimp is initially a figure of fun, but as he repeats the same situations of training and fighting he gradually hones his skills, teaming up with Emily Blunt’s badass veteran warrior in a bid to defeat the tentacle-waving enemy.
