Fans of BBC1 travelogue The Real Marigold Hotel will be delighted to hear stars from the previous three series are packing their bags to experience retirement in four more destinations, as they take part in spin-off show The Real Marigold on Tour. Here’s what’s in store when it airs next year…
Vietnam
CHECKING IN: Stephanie Beacham, Syd Little, Rosemary Shrager and Wayne Sleep. ITINERARY: In a country with a rapidly expanding OAP population, the group spend their time in Hanoi, where they mix with locals at Hoàn Kiem Lake and the Red River, join cycling and art clubs, and scale a mountain. And the trip wouldn’t be complete without a journey on the night train.

CHECKING IN: Bobby George, Miriam Margolyes (right), Stanley Johnson and Sheila Ferguson (left). ITINERARY: From their Saint Petersburg base, the group have a go at motorcycling and try out unique health treatments, as well as learning more about this huge nation’s culture and politics.
