RIP Sally?

As Tim fights for Sally’s freedom, her scary cellmate, Marcia, pulls a knife on her…

-

The discovery that Duncan’s ‘dead’ wife, May, is alive and well is conclusive proof that Duncan is a twisted liar. But as

Tim, Gina and Sophie use this vital information to fight Sally’s wrongful conviction for fraud, little do they realise that their efforts could be too late.

Over at the prison, Sal has made an enemy in cellmate Marcia, who has murder in mind…

When Gina made the shock breakthrough about ‘dead’ May last week, Duncan’s missus was hiding out in Costa Rica.

But following her husband’s road accident, she’s now in Weatherfield – as Sophie discovers when she spots her at the hospital. Knowing that the woman is the key to her mum’s release, Soph comes up with a plan. Posing as Duncan’s neighbour, she lies that Duncan has been moved to another hospital, and offers to drive May there.

May takes the bait, and Sophie takes a photo of her, which she sends to Tim. The cabbie then shows it to Duncan, and threatens him to do as he’s told.

But just when it looks like

Team Metcalfe has the upper hand, Sophie takes a call from her stepdad and May makes her escape. Thankfully, Gina tracks her down at the tram stop, where she begs her to do the right thing and tell the truth about Duncan’s duplicity. But will May listen to her?

Meanwhile, just as it seems Sally’s fortunes are finally looking up, Marcia enters her cell. She wrongly believes that Sally has grassed her up for drug dealing, and lunges at the former mayor with a knife.

Will Sal’s prison stint be the death of her, right at the eleventh hour?
