comedy chiller ⊲This is an entertaining enough remake of the old Bob Hope spooky comedy about an heiress in peril in a creepy old house. It has a good cast, too: Honor Blackman, Edward Fox, Michael Callan, Peter Mcenery, Wendy Hiller, Olivia Hussey, Carol Lynley and the ever wonderful Wilfrid Hyde White. A fun blend of gasps and chuckles, especially recommended if you haven’t seen the original. Dir: Radley Metzger 1978, 15, 120min
