comedy ⊲ Nine to Five meets Strangers on a Train in this farcical comedy which revolves around a trio of hapless wage slaves (Jason Bateman, Jason Sudeikis and Charlie Day) who are so fed up with their respective bosses-from-hell that they decide to bump them off. The would-be assassins’ hopelessly bungling efforts produce a steady supply of rude laughs, with the actors clearly having a lot of fun. Bateman underplays beautifully, while Kevin Spacey, Jennifer Anniston and Colin Farrell are great as the overbearing overseers. Dir: Seth Gordon 2011, 15, 60min
