● Factual / 9pm (times vary) / BBC2
We’ve seen trevor mcdonald champion leaders and Dermot O’leary on explorers. Now, in the third episode of this ambitious history series, Chris Packham argues that the world of science is where the 20th Century’s most influential person can be found. Chris reveals the world-changing discoveries of Marie Curie, Albert Einstein, Alan Turing and Tu Youyou. What is perhaps the most striking about all four is that they were outsiders who saw the world differently and made huge personal sacrifices to accomplish their life’s work. The series continues tomorrow at 9pm, with Kathleen Turner profiling four entertainers.
